Once again a post about the endless search of good coffee in Vienna. But this time the search was victorious…
One very important good point about working in the downtown of a city is the high concentration of stores seeling good food and drinks..
Luckily I found a coffee-shop 5 minutes away from my work with exquisite coffee (italian style, the nice one to drink..), a fine chai latte and warm, filled Brioches. Because of the very friendly (and patient!) staff and the lounge-like interior you forget about the bussy Tube-station outside, and served with a fine cappuccino the glum faced pedestrians hurrying by seem a bit less dull..
So I´m sitting there every day in the morning from 9:15 to 9:30 am, enjoying the coffee and the busy life outside the windows before I too become a member of this stream of people, but so unlike most of them I carry a smile on my lips.. everyday when I go to work..
The coffeeshop is “Kaffeeküche” in the “Schottentor”-tube and tram station passage in Vienna.. just look for a pure, clean counter all in black with a bulk of people waiting in front of it. And the link: kaffeekueche.at/

PS: manü will know which one I mean
